Data Collection and Recording Instrumentation for Command, Control, and Communications

Instrumentation has been developed to acquire and record performance data for analysis of Navy communications systems. The existing two basic models are modular, multimicroprocessor-based systems using state-of-the-art devices. They were designed to collect, process, and record performance data automatically (i.e., with little or no operator intervention). One is designed as a shipborne system, whereas the other is a more compact version for use in Navy aircraft.
